David Citadel Hotel is a design masterpiece within a vast architectural vision that unifies the New City with the Old. At a perfect vantage point, facing the city walls, David Citadel Hotel was built from Jerusalem stone, speaking the language of sanctity, engaging in dialogue with time and place.
Alongside Mamilla Alrov Avenue, the city's luxurious entertainment and shopping area, a short walk to the main entrance gate to the Old City, Jaffa Gate and David's Tower, and to Jaffa Street, the renovated and vibrant center of the modern city.
A design masterpiece within a vast architectural vision that unifies the New City with the Old. Moshe Safdie, one of Israel's greatest architects, collaborated with Italian super-designer Piero Lissoni, and together, they wove dreams and tailored styles and eras, to achieve a perfect architectural gem. The dialogue between Safdie and Lissoni is found in the spacious halls as well as in the rooms and suites. Every detail was given thought and creative spirit, everything was tailored to the hotel's dimensions: from furniture to lighting, from stone carvings to the location of rooms and balconies.
