The AXOR Starck electronic basin mixer allows for touchless operation via an infrared sensor that detects hands and automatically activates water flow. The mixer is powered by a 6V battery included in the kit, with an estimated lifespan of approximately two years, and does not require a permanent connection to the electricity grid. The water temperature can be pre-adjusted as needed.
SensorActivation enables touchless use, while the sensor automatically adapts to environmental conditions and offers two detection range settings. EcoSmart limits the maximum flow rate to 5 liters/minute at 3 bar, and AirPower enriches the water with air to create fuller, softer drops with less splashing in the basin area.
The mixer also incorporates dedicated functions for hygiene and maintenance: an automatic hygienic flush can be activated on a 24-hour cycle, a continuous flush for 180 seconds suitable for thermal disinfection, and a cleaning mode that allows manual stopping of water flow while cleaning the basin. QuickClean helps remove limescale and dirt buildup from silicone surfaces by simply wiping with a finger.
