The Hansgrohe iBox universal 2 internal body is designed for concealed installation of shower systems, bathtubs, and new-generation thermostats. It is an advanced installation base that allows for extensive design freedom in the bathroom, while maintaining a clean and precise external appearance of the chosen trim set.
The iBox universal 2 is compatible with all new Hansgrohe concealed installation trim sets for showers, bathtubs, and thermostats, including ShowerSelect Comfort and DuoTurn. In combination with adapter plate 13588000, it also allows compatibility with iBox1 concealed trim sets model 01800180.
The internal structure is made of dezincification-resistant brass, with an foamed EPP casing for heat and sound insulation. The flexible installation ring adapts to various installation situations, can be adjusted in 5 mm increments, and is suitable for front or rear installation. The sliding sleeve eliminates the need for shortening, and a built-in level helps with precise horizontal and vertical alignment during installation.
